Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide opportunities for encouragement, empowerment, and growth. We hope to fulfill the mission set forth by Russel M. Nelson to "stand out..and be seen as different and distinct in the happiest of ways."

Our Story

We are a mother/daughter team who felt guided to creating this company. We often discussed the idea of planning events in Moab but it never became a reality. Then one afternoon the idea of a retreat company that combines tools and empowerment with adventure and sunshine came up. Within a week it was organized and official. Everyone we spoke to said, "we were just talking about doing something like this" and more and more we began to feel that this company was being guided. The timing was an answer to prayer. Our logo includes the sun because soaking up sunshine is one of Sharon's favorite activities, and waves because water is where Ashly feels the most peaceful and happy. It was a happy accident when we realized that both the Sun and Water are representations of our Savior.

Shortly after beginning retreats we found a need for our Bystander class and then were led to creating a book from the class content. Every step of our journey has been guided.

We feel honored to be included in your journey and hope to see you on our next adventure.

Sharon Leavitt

Sharon loves laughter. It's a good thing that she does, because she is a mother of two and a grandmother of two. Without laughter she never would have survived 25 years of public school teaching. For stress relief, you will find her baking a cake, creating a Christmas wreath, or solving a math problem. You read correctly. She does math for fun. Her pet peeve is mothers who tell their children that math is hard. She's been happily married to her high school sweetheart over 37 years.

Ashly Leavitt

Ashly firmly believes in celebrating the little things and that laughter heals. She enjoys creating magical moments for her two children - whether sneaking around painting their toenails green while they're sleeping on St. Patrick's Day eve or regularly dancing in the kitchen. Ashly is a therapist at Sego Family and Wellness and spends her off time running groups at Life Changing Services
